Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday on our first two trips of the 2011 season. We had big and fun flows on the river and got to see the Rogue at water levels much higher than the norm. We sped downstream in awe of the some of the gigantic waves and holes.
At Nugget Falls, we took a little breather to stop and look at the rapid. Everyone had slightly nervous smiles as we walked back to the boats but, after clean runs all around, those smiles turned to huge grins. Powerhouse, just downstream, was a long roller-coaster ride down Mugger’s Alley (river-right channel).
