Fall time is magic on the Rogue River. With the changing of seasons comes a beautiful contrast of colors. The busier summer season yields to a slower pace of travelers and you’ll discover the river all to yourself. Cooler temperatures are refreshing in the evening and the crisp water feels like a renewal of sorts for both you and the river.
Our four-day specialty “Fall Rogue River Trips” will show you why the Rogue was a charter member of the Wild & Scenic Rivers Act. As we float downstream we’ll pass Salmon and Steelhead making their way up river. Fall colors begin showing in late September. Waking to a hot cup of coffee against the brisk morning air is complemented with outstanding Fall scenery. Your final night and morning on the river is spent at Paradise Lodge which is only accessible by boat or trail.
