Editor’s Note: Throughout the summer, Indigo Creek vans pass the Green Springs Inn en route to Spring Island, the launch location for our Upper Klamath rafting trips. After dropping our trips off, one of our drivers, Darby, has made a routine of stopping at the Green Springs Inn for a quick breakfast before continuing the van journey to the take-out. “It’s the perfect mid-shuttle break,” explains Darby. “A slice of pie and a cup of coffee outside in the fresh mountain air is as good as it gets during the busy summer days.”
