In January, a group of Ashland, Oregon, rafters and kayakers decided to check out the rarely-run Redwood Creek in Northern California. From information we gathered online, we understood that Redwood Creek flowed through Redwood National Park and was often touted as one of the best multi-day river trips in California. Well, needless to say the creek and surrounding area did not disappoint. We spent two days in awe as we floated past giant Redwood trees, saw a bear, and ran some really fun rapids.

The entire run is about 25 miles long and we covered it in two days. The first day we went about 15 miles and ran almost all of the rapids. Day 2 was spent drifting and enjoying the scenery. Here are some photos from our trip:
