Our mission is to be a positive force for good — uplifting our guests, employees, communities, and the natural environments that sustain us. Through the experiences we offer, we will inspire a collective responsibility for the places we call home, our neighbors and communities, and the rivers and wild places that we interface.
OUR COMPANY ETHOS
BY WILL & JULIE VOLPERT
We are dedicated to fostering a spirit of connection, community, and conservation. With a deep respect for our rivers and wild places, our focus is creating unforgettable outdoor experiences that build meaningful moments. Our company culture is fostered through professionalism, hard work, and a shared passion for adventure. We lead by example and show that an adventure tourism company can strengthen the lives of employees, guests, and local rural communities.
You will be hard-pressed to find a crew with more time in this business than the team at Indigo Creek. On average, each of our guides have over 16 years experience working on rivers throughout the west. But years of experience isn’t the only metric that matters. Our team is one of the best in the business because they are authentic, caring, accomplished, and humble.
While some “move fast and break things” and grow beyond their ability to maintain great service… we are accountable and take tremendous pride in ownership. You will not find us expanding beyond our region because the best companies, guides, and trips are provided by those who live, work, and understand the communities in which they conduct business.
No matter your background, days on the river and nights under stars are an equalizer. Our guests come from different backgrounds financially, geographically, socially, culturally, and politically. The customer experience that we facilitate does not deviate based on the person joining us. There are no “upgrades” (“glamping,” “deluxe,” “safari,” etc.) because, in our world, it is a given that our guests will be provided the best service possible. Our standard of care is to cater to every individual; and it is attention to the unique custom details that separates ordinary “customer service” from Indigo Creek’s reputation for personalized and friendly hospitality.
The full package is what makes Indigo Creek stand out: Southern Oregon hospitality, combined with decades of professional guiding experience, backed by a support team that works tirelessly behind the scenes. These are the reasons why our guests return year after year.
At Indigo Creek Outfitters, we are a company that was built by guides, for our guests, with the goal of simply creating the very best moments in all of our lives. We do this work with a mandate that we have a social and ethical responsibility to enhance our communities and protect the natural places in which we rely upon. At the end of the day, our work is centered around rivers and people. How lucky are we?
