We use boats made by Vanguard Inflatables, SOTAR Whitewater Manufacturing, and NRS. Other equipment is purchased from Clavey Paddlesports (Petaluma, California) and Whitewater Worthy Equipment (Central Point, Oregon). We purchase high quality products that keep both our staff and customers happy, comfortable, and safe. We take good care of our equipment and replace our gear annually.

Personal Floatation Devices and Helmets

The Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs) we provide are Coast Guard-approved Type V and are comfortable and easy to wear. The helmets we provide are comfortable and adjustable to fit properly, however they are not required for the entire trip. Lifejackets and helmets are washed thoroughly after each and every use.

Stay Warm

Splash jackets, wetsuits, and booties (river shoes) are provided free of charge. These items are typically not needed during the warm summer months, but can really make a difference in your comfort level if the weather is cooler than usual.

Our Rafts and Kayaks

We use a variety of boats depending the trip. The three brands we use are Vanguard Inflatables, SOTAR Manufacturing, and NRS. All of our rafts are equipped with grab handles, foot cups, and throw bags. The types of boats we run are either straight paddle rafts, stern assisted paddle rafts, oar boats, or inflatable kayaks.

Safety Equipment

Each trip floats with a comprehensive first-aid kit and communication device. On Upper Klamath and multi-day trips we carry a satellite phone.

Vehicles

We are registered with the Department of Transportation as a Motor Carrier and are subject to vehicle audits. Our fleet includes 12 to 15 passenger vans and large trucks for multi-day trips. Our vehicles are well maintained and are cleaned after each trip.
